| Shelter Dog Rescue Project at UC Davis | This is a veterinary-student-run organization that rescues dogs from local shelters, places them in foster homes in the community, vaccinates, spays/neuters, provides obedience training, then places the dogs in permanent homes. Foster families are needed to take the dogs into their homes for the duration of the 8-week project. They can also always use spare dog supplies (toys, collars, leashes, crates, etc.) that you no longer need. They are entirely student-run and funded, so financial donations are greatly appreciated. This Project is run by the Canine Medicine Club at the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis.
