DOGFRIENDLY.COM, AN INTERNET TRAVEL GUIDE FOR DOG OWNERS, ANNOUNCES ITS NORTHEAST
Free Online Guide Saves Dog Owners Time in Searching for The Perfect Getaway Spot!
SAN JOSE, California -- July 15, 1999 -- DogFriendly.com, Inc. (http://www.dogfriendly.com)
today unveiled its new Northeast States listings of dog-friendly hotels, with more
regions to follow. This is the first online dog travel site to focus on listing hotels
that allow ALL dogs, regardless of size!
The new Northeast section covers eight states including New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts
and the District of Columbia. From a romantic getaway at a bed and breakfast in Cape
Cod, to staying at a fancy high-rise hotel in Manhattan, a dog owner is sure to find
the perfect spot to spend the night.
"Our philosophy is that a dog shouldn't be discriminated against because of
its size," said Tara Kain, president of DogFriendly.com. "Therefore, we
want to promote the truly dog-friendly hotels that welcome these important family
members, regardless of whether the dog is small or large."
The Northeast region joins the extensive California listings of dog-friendly hotels,
outdoor restaurants, parks, attractions and upcoming events. In addition to listing
pet-friendly hotels, DogFriendly.com also has a Dog Photo Gallery, dog articles,
and listings of dog-friendly employers and stores. For more general information,
there are links to many dog-related services and companies, including pet sitters,
online pet stores and dog cookie stores.
