Comments:The streets of Downtown Burbank will be haunted by thousands of little monsters in costume and scores of pet dogs decked out to the K-9s on October 31 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. On that spooky night, kids will be trick-or-treating from store-to-store (accompanied by adults!), and dog-owners will be encouraged to bring along their favorite companion for a mutt-see Howl-oween Parade on the AMC Walkway. Downtown Burbank?s Halloween festivities are free and open to the public. Here are the details: Trick-Or-Treat For Kids, 4:00 To 7:00 P.M.Parents are invited to bring their little monsters for an early evening of trick-or-treating before the bigger ghosts come out. Downtown Burbank merchants will provide free treats from store-to-store from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. The core area for this outdoor trick-or-treat celebration will be on San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia Boulevard and Angeleno. Pet Parade for Dogs in Costume, 6:00 P.M.Pet owners are encouraged to bring along their favorite K-9 dressed in the Halloween spirit for the 2nd Annual Downtown Dog Parade on the AMC Walkway at San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue in Downtown Burbank. Owners are asked to please register on-site by 5:30 P.M. on October 31. All well-behaved pets are welcome. Dogs must wear leashes. For further information, the public is asked to please call 818.238.5180 Downtown Burbank encompasses 34-blocks of retail, office, residential and entertainment destinations that include more than 200 shops and 80 restaurants like Macy's, IKEA, PF Chang's, Urban Outfitters, AMC-16 and Burbank Town Center. The area is bounded by Verdugo Avenue, Glenoaks, Burbank Boulevard and the I-5 in Burbank, Calif., and contains more than 9,000 parking spaces. Dubbed "one of Southern California's most appealing urban centers" by Sunset Magazine, the district is managed by Downtown Burbank Partnership, a California nonprofit mutual benefit corporation.

There is a small charge of $10 which goes to help our local animals in need.
