Comments:Central Bark? Doggy Day Care will be hosting a fundraising event on behalf of several 501c3 animal rescue organizations. The event will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 from noon to 5:00 pm. We are calling it the Puppy Bowl and it is loosely based on the Puppy Bowl that The Animal Planet does each year during the Super Bowl.
The rescue organizations that we will be helping are: Angels on Wheels Animal Rescue, Animal Rescue Foundation of Illinois (ARF-IL), Dogs Deserve Better ? Good Newz Rehab Center, Fox Valley Animal Welfare League, Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary, and It?s A Pittie Rescue.
Your dogs can bob for hotdogs, get their nails trimmed and/or painted, and we will have 6 colors of doggy dye available for dyeing your dog?s fur! Your kids will have an area with games & prizes. And you can get tips from a dog trainer, win raffle prizes, check out local businesses, and enjoy chili at our chili contest and bakery for sale.
The entry fee is 1 item from any of the rescue group?s ?Wish Lists? per person. Check out their websites from the links on our Facebook page for more info; just go to www.facebook.com/PuppyBowl2012 or www.centralbarkusa.com/oswego.
All socialized, vaccinated (or titered) and leashed (no retractable/flexi leashes please) dogs are welcome. Please no more than 2 dogs per adult person.
Local Business Sponsors are Flydogs Training; Central Bark; Canine Physical Rehabilitation; Mark Pastor Photography; WolfMama Animal Services-Pet Communicator ; NutriSource Pet Foods; Gold Canyon; Scentsy; Thirty-One Gifts and more!
