Comments:The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is holding its 17th Annual Walk for the Animals on Sunday April 27, 2008 at Quiet Waters Park located at 600 Quiet Waters Road Annapolis, MD. 21403-2700 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
OBG Cocker Spaniel Rescue (Oldies But Goodies) will be participating in the event. Stop by our booth and ask about volunteering or fostering. There will be merchandise on sale to help raise funds for medical and kennel bills. We will have on display a sample of OBG Cocker Spaniel Rescue brand new Logo license plate (Only for Maryland residents) and MVA forms will be on hand.
There will be treats for both you and Fido! Don't forget to donate! We will have a donation jar ready for dollars for our doggies!

Comments:2008 marks our Seventeenth Annual Walk for the Animals. Our goal is $225,000 this year and we think we can reach it! All donations go directly towards the care of our animals. Collect pledges prior to the Walk in April and bring them with you to it. No pre-registration is required. Prizes awarded to top pledge earners who turn in their money the day of the Walk. Dogs current on vaccinations and on leashes (not retractable) are welcome! There will be a Walk Festival with many dog friendly businesses on display. Join us and help our animals!

Comments:Mark your dog's social calendar for the 3rd annual Strut Your Mutt Dog Parade and Festival in downtown Bethesda, MD. Proceeds from the event benefit the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad. Activities at the street festival include: a Strut Your Mutt parade, adoption show, dog/owner contests, dog-related exhibitors including dog daycares, dog photographers and boutiques, a raffle, a kiddie play area and more! The Montgomery County Humane Society's Mobile Adoption Unit will be on-site along with area dog rescue groups. Sponsors include Bethesda Magazine, True Oldies 105.9, Comcast and Vitamin Water.
