Comments:Doggie Dips is a dog pool party & play date! Dogs from all over the area are given the chance to play, run free, and swim in the Lewisburg Community Pool after it is closed for the season. There will be a free dog wash as well as a raffle. Event will be open from 4:00pm to 7:30pm on September 6th and 10th, 2014. Proceeds from the event will go to SUN P.E.T.S., whose mission is to provide low cost spay and neuter programs for dogs and cats in Snyder, Union, and Northumberland counties in Pennsylvania.

Comments:The Duquesne University School of Law Student body dedicates this race in memory of Katie Westbrook, whose dream at age 13 was to become a lawyer. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, which took her life at age 15, just before she was to receive an honorary degree from Duquesne University School of Law.

Although Katie was never able to fulfill her dream of becoming an attorney, we honor her memory and dream to become a Duquesne Lawyer through the SBA Centennial Endowed Fund, which provides scholarships to current law students and helps them realize their dreams of becoming attorneys.
