Comments:This year PHAR is playing Easter Bunny for our four legged friends. Dust off those bunny ears (both yours and your dog's!) and bring your Easter basket to collect eggs filled with dog treats and prizes! (Yes, dogs will be the ones expected to find the eggs!) Easter Egg Hunt for Your Pooch, Costume Contest, White Elephant Auction, cold drinks and lots of fun for everyone all included! Dogs are encouraged to dress in their Easter Finest to strut and wiggle their tails for the Costume Contest. A prize will be awarded to the canine wearing the best designed outfit. The cats haughtily declined to be judges, so humans will have to suffice. Easter photos for pets and people will be available. Egg hunters should bring their own basket or sack to collect the eggs. This charity event takes place on Saturday, March 15th, at Ben Geren Park. The park is located on Zero Street in Fort Smith, South of the airport. Registration is $ 10 per dog and starts at 12:30 P.M. All dogs are welcome to join in the fun; the only requirements being dogs must possess an up-to-date Rabies tag/certificate and not be aggressive. Pooches taking part in the event must be kept on a leash, and owners must stay with their dogs at all times. Canine water stations and scooping bags will be provided. PHAR is an all volunteer-based animal rescue organization based in Fort Smith, AR and 100 percent of all proceeds from this event will be poured directly back into the community by helping homeless animals. Please contact PHAR by e-mailing cat@pets-haven.com or calling 479-782-7002 for more information. PHAR's Orphans looking for forever homes may be viewed by visiting Pets-Haven.Petfinder.com.
