Comments:5K and 2K Fun Run/Dog Walk to benefit the Jessamine Humane Society in Nicholasville, Kentucky. First 200 entrants will receive a race t-shirt; the next 100 entrants will receive a ball cap. Registration begins at 7:45 am, race begins at 9am. Pre-registration is $15(deadline May 19);$20 on race day. Everyone is asked to bring a can or bag of dog or cat food for the shelter (or donate an additional $2 in lieu of pet food).
Door prizes and giveaways.
Sign up for these contests on race day: Dog/Owner Look Alike Contest; Best Trick; and A Dog Only a Mother Could Love. Prizes will be awarded to contest winners.

This is the first time in the 32 year history of the Frisbee Dog sport that a Frisbee Dog tournament will be aired on ESPN, as its own TV show. Come see some of the world's most talented Frisbee Dogs with International teams competing for the US Semi-Finals and US National Finals Titles. Frisbee Dogs have an array of amazing tricks, leaps, flips and vaults as the teams strive to qualify for a shot at becoming the USDDN US National Finals ?US National Champion?. It's the nation's biggest weekend of Frisbee Dog action and you can bring your own pooch, whether he is a furry spectator or a four-legged competitor.
