Comments:Do you enjoy walking with your dog?Is your dog a great training partner as you shape up for Spring? Does your dog wonder why he/she has to stay at home while you get the glory, medals and 'rush of the run'?Join us at Memorial Medical Clinic as we hold our 1st annual Paws 4 Cause, a dog-centered event that will be our first annual in support of Mercy Memorial Health Center's Cancer Center. Mercy Memorial Health Center and the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce Foundation have entered into an agreement to build a new cancer center that will provide southern Oklahomans high-tech compassionate care close to home. New facility plans include a PET CT machine that also performs standard CT scans, allowing patients the convenience of getting both scans at the same time, instead of undergoing two separate scans. Mercy Memorial?s cancer center currently performs over 12,000 treatments every year. Our hope by forming this year's Paws 4 Cause - Minithon will be an organizational event that is a preceptor for the A2A - Arbuckles to Ardmore Marathon/Half Marathon/5k. Registration is $5 per dog. Gift bags will be given along with Inaugural Bandanas to each registered participant. This is the first year of this event and its all very experimental , please be realistic and responsible for your dogs. We need to rely on dog owners to know their dogs physical abilities and temperament. No aggressive dogs please! Your are 100% responsible for you and your dog. Join us as we enjoy our favorite 4-legged friends and our 2-legged friends at Memorial Medical Clinic's Inaugural Paws 4 Cause!
