We will have activities like games for people and pets, the
silent auction, Agility demonstration plus a couple of new activities this
year including a guest speaker and Panel Discussion on Pet Nutrition. We will also have a local person who does Pet Message to demonstrate how we can massage our own pets. The big new event will be a Blessing of the Animals at 4:30, and we will invite the public at large to participate in this part of the day. We will also have a time where we remember the pets that we have lost during this past year, so if you have lost a pet, please e-mail me their names, or we will have a sign up sheet to do that at the picnic.

At any given time, we have 150-200 pets available for adoption. All of our pets may be viewed online at www.sunnymeadows.org Monday through Friday hours are by appointment only. Please call 901-363-7233 to schedule an appointment to meet your new best friend!
All of our pets have received medical care, sometimes very extensive to ensure their health. All pets have been spayed/neutered, have received appropriate vaccinations, current on preventative medicine (i.e. heart worm prevention, flea prevention) and are Heart worm, FeLV/FIV negative. Upon approval, adoption fee is $100.

There will be Three days of AKC All-Breed Dog Shows, Agility Competition and
Obedience. We will also feature three days of Full Flyball Tournament action. On Saturday and Sunday, an AKC Canine Good Citizen test, the very popular Super Dog and Super Puppy Contest along with other forms of demonstrations and canine entertainment too numerous to mention.
100% of the net proceeds from the event will directly benefit the children of St. Jude, the children's hospital founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas that treats children with catastrophic diseases, regardless of ability to pay.
