Utah Dog Sports) will be offering demonstrations on Agility, Flyball, Tracking & Obedience.Dr. Casey Wittwer DVM of Hurricane will be offering a demonstration and instruction with his Atomic DISC Dogs (Frisbee).Gail Workman, Certified Dog Trainer, will be offering Good Canine Citizen evaluations and a free training seminar.We will be offering information on Animal Assisted Therapy. The Cedar City Police K-9 Unit will be giving a demonstration.Iron County Search and Rescue K-9s will be giving a demonstration.We will have music, a raffle, and a Photographer at this event. The event is free for demonstrations but if you want your dog to learn & participate and try out the equipment, it is $5 per animal and/or class. We are offering these fees to be waived IF you are a member of our group. All Participants MUST sign a waiver and RSVPby Friday, June 8th. Our demonstrators are coming from all areas and driving long distances. If we do not have enough participants signed up by June 8th, this event will be post-poned until further notice. All Iron County Animal Shelters and Rescues have been invited with their adoptable animals so come on out and see everyone at one location. Anyone attending our event MUST follow our rules including the rules on our Waiver. Please download the form from our website or e-mail us and we will send you a copy. Best in Match- Three streamer rosette and an Iams travel mug, towel and grooming apron.
Group 1-4- Three streamer rosette and Iams travel mug
Best junior- Three streamer rosette and an Iams grooming apron and soft sided cooler

We will also be holding a raffle to help establish this new club with some great items! All juniors entered will receive a fun gift!
If your child is interested in junior showmanship, you can visit AKC.org to apply for your junior number and you will receive the number by e-mail the very next day in order to enter your junior in time.
Please remember that AKC finished champions are not allowed to show at a fun match. Bring your puppies and come join us for a fun filled day. Please help support this new club, and remember this means two more days of shows here in Utah! See you all there!

Breeder's Choice XTERRA K9 Challenge

Comments:The Breeder's Choice XTERRA K9 Challenge is a made-for-fun obstacle course time trial for dogs and their owners. Completing the challenge will take anywhere from 20 seconds to one minute, and it's not limited to highly trained or specialized dogs so all are welcome to participate. The event is part of the XTERRA Sports Festival weekend with kids races, trail runs, off-road triathlons, expo, music, food, and more. The winner receives a year supply of AvoDerm Dog Food, but the event is limited to 75 registrants, so sign up today!

Daybreak ?Bark in the Park? will be open to all surrounding communities.
The overall goal of the event is to elevate awareness of responsible pet care and options for adding a pet to the family.

Misting stands and a shade tent will be available to keep everybody's paws cool. You don't have to own a pet to come and have fun! But if your family includes a dog, put on the leash and bring him to meet, greet and enjoy the festivities.
