Seattle The Last White Elephant 902 N.E. 65th Seattle WA 206-525-0170 Type: thrift store This store donates money to animal causes (like PAWS) and they have a little sign just inside the door that says "dogs welcome inside". The friendly woman who runs the store greeted Butter and gave her a dog biscuit. They also have a little bin of tennis balls that dogs can play with while they are in the store. The store has great prices and you can get information about PAWS, PETA, Vegan groups, etc. The store is north of the University of Washington, near green lake. Dogs also come to work here 3 to 4 days a week. They follow owners around greet customers and enjoy life. The employees rescued a wild cat, had her spayed, got her shots and she lives at the store everyday. Learning that dogs are OK is a must. She does better with small dogs. |
