Quality Towing
2201 N Commerce St
Las Vegas, Nevada

Business Type:Tow Truck Company

Comments:Dogs Allowed: with some tow truck drivers. I have an Alaskan Malamute, 8 years old and since he was a puppy my (various employers have) let my K-9 be my shotgun buddy; Nevada Recyling, Abbies, and Quality Towing. The most noteworthy is Quality Towing as he spent 6 years riding shotgun as we did Police Impounds, Fire Dept calls, US Marshall, and Private Impounds. He was loved by the Las Vegas Police and Marshalls he came in contact with while performing his duties as relief driver as he thought. When coming to work in AM he would make the rounds of all the offices to make sure everything was in place as he had left it last and then dash for the Tow truck to begin his tour of duty for the day. His only drawback was that he never took a likeing to the Fire Dept. I figure due to the way they were dressed. The Las Vegas Police would bet that they couldn't walk up to his window without going off on them. They were right. One of the Police Officers loved him so much, he gave him a Las Vegas Police Badge(Motor Officer who I later found out died in a vehicle accident in Utah) Airborne still wears that badge this day. I most likely had my dog with me at work due to have been a War Dog Handler with the US Army. Also would like to mention a Rottweiler named Hooch who would stay behind and guard the Impound Lot while his buddy Airborne was on Patrol in Las Vegas.

Schreck Morris Law Office

Las Vegas, Nevada

Business Type:law firm

Comments:Dogs Allowed: all departments. Thanks to one of the employees who wrote: "Our law firm allows dogs - the only prerequisite is that our dog has a Canine Good Citizenship Certificate (CGC). My boss has six border collies and he usually brings in two a day. I have 3 greyhounds and I bring one into work once per week. The greyhound sits at my desk while I'm working or walks with me to deliver something to another employee, or if I'm making copies at the copy machine. All the dogs that do come into work are therapy dogs as well and are very well behaved. Since we are a law office, we have clients that are very surprised when you come to meet them with a dog by your side. They find it very pleasing to have a dog at your side to pet and talk to. We work in a bank building in downtown Las Vegas on the 12th floor so the dogs are used to going up and down on the elevator. During the week of bringing your dog into work, there was an article about our law firm and being able to bring our dogs into work written in our local newspaper, the Las Vegas Review Journal. It really is a special perk to be able to bring your dog into work everyday!

Comments:From time to time I bring in my 4 month old yellow lab, Shylo. She is loved by the whole company. I work in a very high stress department and I have noticed the days she is around people are less stressed and there is a lot less yelling and attitude in our department. Even people from other departments come over to pet her when the day is getting to them. She is always happy go lucky and puts a smile on the face of all those who enter our department. People even come looking for her and when she is not her they get mad at me for not bringing her. I use to have people come to my office to see me, now they just come to see her!
