The Hocking Hills area of Ohio is a popular
outdoor getaway destination, not just for people
with dogs, but for all kinds of vacationers. There
are are many dog-friendly hotels, vacation cabin
rentals and numerous campgrounds to enjoy.
 Holiday
Inn Express in Lancaster, OH
We
stopped for a few nights at the Holiday Inn
Express in Lancaster, Ohio, which was within easy driving
distance of the Hocking Hills State Park. We
stayed in a large room with two beds and a sofa.
After being on the road for awhile, it was nice to
stay in a hotel room that had lots of space.
On the road to Hocking Hills
State Park
After our first night in Lancaster, we headed out to Hocking Hills
State Park for a hike and to see Old Man's
Cave. The photos and descriptions on
Hocking Hills State Park's web site looked and
sounded very appealing and we were not
disappointed.
