Traveling with dogs usually limits a dog lover's method of transportation to an automobile. If you happen to have a small dog, you might be able to bring him or her with you in the cabin of an airplane. Other alternatives are not appealing or simply not an option.

Many dog lovers do not want to place their dog in a cargo hold of an airplane. To even further limit transportation choices, trains like Amtrak still refuse to allow pets. But about three years ago, an entreprenuer name Rick Roof decided he would work on another option for pet owners. His plan was to offer a nationwide pet-friendly airline service using small aircraft. In the year 2000, Companion Air was born. Click Here to Read the Entire Article...

New Dog Book Being Released...

Home Alone: Yoga and Other Tools to Help Pets Overcome Separation Anxiety by author Bruce Van Horn.

With the help of this book, you will learn how to practice yoga while your pooch sits or lays next to you. You will not need to try to get your best friend into a yoga position! But Yoga can help you become more in tune with your pet and can also help your dog learn proper discipline and obedience.

Excerpt from the author: "The primary cause for stress for American dogs is their overworked owners. The stress of being alone and unattended for extended periods of time results in stress and behavioral problems...I believe we can reduce both (ours and our dogs) stresses with regular Yoga practice with our pets...It makes them relax, thereby enhancing physiological processes which ultimately could have the potential to extend the longevity."

Book Table of Contents include:
- Stress Response in Humans, Canines and Felines
- Daily Human Animal Yoga Practice (includes explanation of various forms of yoga positions - includes pictures)
- Hands on Energy Work for Animal Healing
- Dog Walking Meditation

This book will be released in November and available in bookstores and on Amazon.com. For more information, visit Yoga For Business.
