Owned and operated by the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, this area is actually a combination of 3 parks entities, which are Land's End, Lincoln Park, and Fort Miley. There is a large parking and viewing area at the end of El Camino Del Mar off Point Lobos Avenue, and this is where you can take one of the paths to the above. An easier access from the Veteran's Administration Hospital parking lot is also available. Fort Miley is home to the historical ruins of a fully recessed military armament. A large open lawn encloses a recessed bunker that is sunny and has great views over the Ocean Beach and Richmond area. It is a nice place to picnic and is one of the only multi-use open field areas here. There are plenty of areas to explore, and your pet may be off lead, except where marked. Please be sure to clean up after your pet.
