Although small, this popular park has a strong local dog community. The off-leash area is at the Eastern corner of the park on the opposite end of the lake area. You can enter at 8th Avenue and Lake Street, but for wheelchair access and the doggy water fountain, enter one block west at 9th Avenue. Dogs must be leashed when not in the off-leash area, and they must be cleaned up after at all times.
