This forest displays a wide variety of trees, abundant wildlife, glimpses of beaver ponds and cranberry bogs and provides various land and water recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they may be off lead if they are well behaved and under voice control. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
