Thanks to one of our readers for these comments: "This hotel is an amazing place for dog lovers. It's a four star hotel that treats your puppy like any other hotel guest. There are two suites (bedroom, kitchen, living room) that are specifically appointed for dogs. Water dishes, biscuits, towels for paws, and outside hoses are provided. There are four nearby state parks and the hotel itself borders a feral area which my dog spent hours on end exploring. There's even a fenced-in kennel area, complete with a dog house, if you want to leave your pet for an hour and go for dinner. Wonderful place, they love dogs, great recreation, beautiful rooms, great hotel restaurant - truly a superb experience." This hotel also offers dog walking service with 24-hour notification. They even have a special pet menu with items like gourmet chuck burgers, grilled range chicken, NY sirloin strip steak with potatoes and vegetables, and for dessert, vanilla ice cream or doggie bon bons. If you are there during Thanksgiving, Christmas or the Fourth of July, they offer a special pet holiday menu. The hotel asks that all pets be kept on a leash when not in their suite and that pets are not left alone in the suite. When making a reservation, they do require that you tell them you are bringing your pet. There is a $25 one time additional pet fee. All rooms are non-smoking.
