Built in 1888 and styled after a Scottish Baronial castle, Fairmont Banff Springs - a National Historic site - has 768 non-smoking rooms in three mid-rise buildings. Renovated in 2011, these luxurious accommodations feature flat-panel cable TVs, coffee/tea makers, plush feather beds with down duvets, windows that open to fresh air, granite vanities and European-style performance body spray showers. Select rooms have panoramic mountain views. The hotel has a 105-feet lap pool, 65-feet heated outdoor pool, 38,000-square-foot day spa, Hungarian mineral pool, several hot tubs, five tennis courts, an ice skating rink in winter, championship golf course, kids club, bowling, tennis and horseback riding. An on-site snow school, ski passes, storage and rental are on offer. There are also 12 dining and drinking venues, plus several luxury shops. Free parking, shuttle to nearby ski locations and high-speed internet access are provided. Fairmont Banff Springs is located in Banff National Park, one mile south of downtown. Sunshine Village Ski Resort and Mount Norquay Ski Village are both about one mile from the resort. Lake Louise is 38 miles northwest of the hotel. Calgary International Airport is about 80 miles away. Fairmont Banff Springs provides our guests with free amenities, plenty of on-site facilities including numerous restaurants and shops, plus a location close to area attractions.

Reminiscent of a Scottish baronial castle, this resort high in the Rocky Mountains offers unparalleled views and recreational opportunities. Dogs up to 20 pounds are allowed for an additional pet fee of $25 per night per room. Dogs may only be left alone in the room is they will be quiet, well behaved, and a contact number is left with the front desk. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
