Did you want to walk across the solar system at the speed of light? In Anchorages scale model of our solar system you can do this. There is a station for the Sun at 5th and G Street and the Earth Station is at 5th and K. It will take you about 8 minutes to walk this distance, the same amount of time that light takes to reach the Earth from the Sun. For the more athletic people and dogs, you can walk further on to Pluto at Kincaid Park. This walk will take about 5 1/2 hours as sunlight takes to reach Pluto.
