Developed to provide public access to the lower part of the Pasagshak River for various recreational purposes, this scenic park has become a popular sports fishing destination, as well as a sight seeing destination with an abundance of land, coastal, and marine life. It is also the only designated park located right on a road only an hours drive from Kodiak. Dogs are allowed in the park and for camping for no additional fee. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after promptly.
