One of the few undammed rivers in the lower 48 states, this 135 mile free flowing river park has 3 designated wilderness areas within its borders, and numerous recreational and educational opportunities. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and in the campground; they are not allowed on the trails. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and under the immediate control of their owner at all times. There are 13 campgrounds available; some of them have potable water and comfort stations. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
