This 4,300 acre park commemorates the sacrifices made by both the North and South in a significant 1982 battle. In addition to the battlefield, there is a recreated historic tavern and original traces of the Telegraph-Military Road. Dogs are allowed on the grounds; they are not allowed in buildings. They must be leashed and under their owner's control.
