This 1,500 acre park is about 7 miles long and less than 1/2 mile wide. The park runs along the north side of the Central Arizona Project canal. There are about 18 miles of multi-use trails to enjoy. In general the trails are flat and easy. The trails run the length of the recreation area from Cave Creek Road east to Scottsdale Road. Access points include Cave Creek Road, Tatum Blvd., Scottsdale Road and 56th Street. Pets must be leashed and please clean up after them.
