Homolovi Ruins State Park

This park now serves as a research center recording the late migration period of the Hopi from the 1200's to the late 1300's. Park facilities include a visitor center and museum, various trails, and pullouts that provide opportunities to observe wildlife over the 4,000 acres at an elevation of 4,900 feet. Dogs are allowed to go on all the trails, the ruins, the park grounds, and the visitor's center. Dogs must be leashed or crated at all times, and they may not be left unattended in the park or automobiles. There is camping available with hook-ups, several covered picnic tables, showers, and a dump station.
