This resort is located 22 miles south of Alpine on US 191/Coronado Trail. While dogs are not allowed at the lodge during the winter months they are allowed in the cabins during the summer. Dogs are also allowed on the cross-country ski trails. Rent skis from the lodge and then take your pooch on a cross-country ski adventure. Dogs need to be leashed while on the lodge property, but can be taken off-leash under direct voice control on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest trails. The trails are sometimes groomed by the national forest service.
