Before entering the refuge, you must obtain a free, valid Refuge Entry Permit and sign a Military Hold Harmless Agreement There are no facilities for gasoline, sanitation, or potable water. They suggest you bring two gallons of water per day, per person, plus water for your pet. A large part of the refuge falls within the air space of a Military training base, and there may closures of the park during training exercises. Normally, the park is open from Monday through Friday, and closed weekends. Well behaved, friendly dogs of all sizes are allowed. Dogs are allowed throughout the park. They may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after.
