Picacho Peak State Park

This park has a rich natural and cultural history, and was once used as a landmark by early explorers. The park offers picnic areas, ramadas, restrooms, a variety of trails with varying difficulty and interests, historical markers, playground, and the Civil War Re-enactment of 3 different battles. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Dogs of all sizes are allowed. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after, and they may not be left unattended at any time. Dogs are allowed on the trails, but not in any park buildings. They also have a campground (some sites with electric) with grills and a dumpstation.
