An outdoor fire pit, year-round hot tub and pine forest environs win over our guests at the non-smoking Best Western Plus Inn of Williams. Nature lovers can enjoy mountain views from any of the 80 rooms at the two-story Best Western Plus. Each room comes with cable TV (HBO included), free Wi-Fi, a refrigerator and coffee/tea service. Breakfast is free every morning and includes hot waffles. If work's brought you to town, you may way to take advantage of the guest-use computer, fax and copy services. As for recreation, there's a seasonal outdoor pool, year-round hot tub, firelit lobby (perfect for cozying up with a book), and guided jeep and van tours (sign up in the lobby). Late afternoons are made for enjoying a cocktail in the restaurant/lounge or at the outdoor fire pit. Other amenities include a gift shop and laundry facilities. Parking is free. The Best Western Plus is about a mile from a well-preserved stretch of Route 66, with classic shops, diners, lots of neon and a cowboy "shoot-out" on summer evenings. The Grand Canyon is 59 miles up Highway 64 and can be reached by car or via a vintage train from the historic Williams Depot (one-and-a-half miles from the hotel). Flagstaff Pulliam Airport is 36 miles away. With its "quiet location" and "fantastic pool area," our guests say this Best Western Plus Inn of Williams is a "nice place to come home to" after a day of sightseeing.
