This real mining town offers museums of a grocery, barber shop, an assay office, newspaper, Post Office, and a total of more than 30 antique buildings on its' Main Street. There are miles of hiking trails to explore, or browse and wander through acres of Antique equipment, go gold panning (with instruction), enjoy cowboy style cookouts, great bird watching, or explore ancient Indian artifacts and petroglyphs. They are open from October 1st to May 1st. Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the town and grounds, but they are not allowed in most of the buildings or the restaurant. Dogs may not be left unattended in the town or automobiles, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. There is also an area for RV camping.
