Zetina Home - For Winter Olympics
|
| Family accommodation for 2010 Winter Olympics: pair of furnished garden-level rooms in Vancouver with built-in dog daycare. These rooms will keep your family and pets comfortable and all together for the Olympics. The smaller room, good for your child, has a single bed, easy chair, desk and dressers, and a view of the big fenced back yard where our two regular daycare dogs, a cockapoo and a Scottie, often play. The larger bedroom has a double bed, dining table, dressers and desk. A couch in the area between the rooms is big enough for a fourth person to sleep on and, if you would like, it could be moved into the larger bedroom. The two rooms have their own bathroom, a food prep area with a fridge, microwave, and toaster oven, and access to a laundry room. Cable TV, high-speed Internet, phone and linens will be provided. Decor is rustic Canadian rather than elegant, but furniture is comfortable and in good condition. Alternatively, the single bed could be replaced so that the rooms would accommodate two couples. We are in Kerrisdale, a safe, upscale neighborhood 15 minutes by bus from UBC, and not far from the other Vancouver and Richmond venues. The house is close to major bus lines, and there is carport parking for one car. No smoking indoors. While your family enjoys the Olympics or the Paralympics, your dog can enjoy the company of the other daycare dogs. Up to two dogs of any size are welcome, as long as they are house trained, well socialized and friendly toward other dogs. Middle-aged couple living upstairs have been looking after dogs for eleven years -- references available. Months of January and March, 2010: $3 000/month, Month of February: $5 500/month, or $200/night, minimum 3 weeks. |
