In addition to some spectacular scenery and a rich cultural and natural history, this park is home to the annual run of salmon returning to their spawning beds from the Pacific Ocean. The park sits amid the grandeur of an old-growth temperate rain forest and gives home to a diverse variety of plant, marine, bird, and wildlife. Dogs are allowed; they must be kept leash and under their owner's control at all times.
