Spread 35 km over 15 islands, this first national park reserve of the 21st century, was initiated to protect the ecological integrity of the area, and to provide an educational experience of the culture and of the coastal island landscape. The islands are reached by ferry and other watercraft. BC Ferry will transport pets, but they must remain on vehicle decks for the duration of the voyage. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
