Once home to industrial factories, this area is popular for it's public market, art studios, and restaurants. Pets are not allowed inside the public marketplace because of the food, but your pooch can walk along the sidewalks and the Sea Wall with you. Along the sidewalks there are usually entertaining street performers. Dog-friendly establishments on Granville Island include the Granville Island Hotel, AquaBus ferries and a dog bakery called Woofles. Granville Island is located just south of downtown Vancouver.
