Most of the artifacts here are pre-1945 and relate to local natural resources, the Alaskan Highway construction and transportation, and there are also native artifacts on display. Although dogs are not allowed inside the museum, there are a number of interesting sites on the grounds to explore. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after.
