Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum
Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum Cliff Dwelling Road Manitou Springs, Colorado
80829 719-685-5242 Map
These authentic Anasazi cliff dwellings have been preserved under a protective red sandstone overhang, and are considered a rare historical treasure. In addition to the ruins, there are reproductions of a stone mesa-top building, an Anasazi baking oven, a nature walk with well-labeled native flowers/herbs/trees, and a 3 story Pueblo-style building that houses the museum and gift shop. From June through August a snack bar and picnic patio are available. Well behaved, leased dogs are allowed throughout the preserve, and please clean up after your pet.
