This park, known as Denver's premium park with over 155 acres, two lakes, formal flower gardens (one being a replica of the President Washington's garden at Mt Vernon), a historic bathhouse and gazebo, attracts all ages. A great trail system, including a 2.5 scenic loop, big open lawns, beautiful scenery, gaming courts, and planned venues also make this a great mini-get-a-way. Dogs of all sizes are allowed as long as they are on a leash. Dog are allowed throughout the park and on the trails, but they must be cleaned up after; please carry supplies.
