D.O.G.G.S. (Dog Owners of Granby Getting Social) is a community volunteer organization that established this fenced-in off-leash recreation area within Salmon Brook Park. Dogs of all sizes are allowed, and there can be up to 3 dogs per person. All dogs must have current license and shot tags on their collar/harness; be accompanied and in sight of their owners/custodians at all times, and under voice control. Choke, prong, or spiked collars are not allowed inside the off-leash area. Owners/custodians must carry a leash at all times, and dogs must be leashed entering and exiting the dog park. If you have a small, older, infirmed, or a shy dog, use the small dog area. You must clean up after your pet immediately, dispose of their waste properly, and fill in any holes they may dig. Females in heat; unaltered males, sick, or aggressive dogs are prohibited in the park and for the safety of all, immediately leash your dog if it exhibits aggressive behavior and leave the dog park area. The picnic tables are for the dogs to play on, but feel free to have a seat; however, food or drink for humans is not allowed within the fenced area.
