Lush greenery, scenic hiking trails and picnic areas, and falls that take a series of drops and cascades 250 feet down on its way to the Housatonic River, are some of the features of this park. This park is a member of the Impressionist Art Trail with reproductions of art painted in the 19th century exhibited at this park and at other host sites. Dogs are permitted for no additional pet fees. Dogs are allowed at the picnic areas and on the hiking trails; they are not allowed in park buildings or in swimming areas. Dogs must be under their owner's control at all times, and be leashed and cleaned up after.
