Actually 3 parks, each rich in folklore, and natural and cultural history, combined to what is now a 900 acre park with miles of hiking trails and a variety of recreational opportunities. Dogs are permitted for no additional pet fees. Dogs are allowed at the picnic areas and on the hiking trails; they are not allowed in the campground, on the beach, or at the picnic shelter. Dogs must be under their owner's control at all times, and be leashed and cleaned up after.
