Gangplank on the Potomac
Gangplank on the Potomac 600 Water Street SW Washington, D.C.
20024 202-554-5000 Ext. 11 Map
Only a day's cruise to the nation's largest natural estuary (the Chesapeake Bay), walking distance to the Jefferson Memorial and the Capitol, museums, shopping, and fine dining choices are just some of the amenities of this 309 slip, full-service marina facility; they have also made some provisions for sailors' pets when they come ashore. The only dogs that are allowed are those arriving by boat-there is no other public access. There is a dog swimming area at the far end of the dock, waste disposal bags at the entrances to the marina, and some great dog-walking areas. Dogs must be leashed when not on their boat.
