A beautiful monument stands elegantly on site as a commemorative for the where the statehood of Florida began. Set on 14 landscaped acres, there is also a museum with exhibits that details the state when it was just a territory and how it established its state constitution. Leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds; they are not allowed in buildings.
