Home to many rare and endangered species, this park is also the country's largest subtropical wilderness - now designated a World Heritage Site, a Wetland of International Importance site, and an International Biosphere Reserve. Dogs are allowed for no additional fee; they may only be in the campground, picnic areas, in the parking lots and on paved roads. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after.
