In addition to providing a number of nature trails that lead visitors through a variety of natural habitats, this park also details the lives and dissention between the Seminole Indians and the new settlers during the 19th century. Dogs are welcome on the grounds; they must be leashed and cleaned up after. The park provides waste disposal stations with bags. Dogs are not allowed in the river.
