Although dogs are not allowed in the fort or other buildings, this historic place offers great scenery, hiking, picnicking, and restrooms. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs must always be attended, leashed at all times, and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the nature trail and in picnic areas. They are open all year; from March-October they are open from 9:30am-5:00pm, and from November-February they are open from 8:30am-4:00pm.
