Caladesi Island State Park
Caladesi Island State Park # 1 Causeway Blvd Dunedin, Florida
34698 727-469-5918 Map
This is only one of a few of the state's completely natural islands and is a popular destination for saltwater anglers, naturalists, and recreationalists. There is a 3 mile nature walk in the park, picnic areas, a snack bar and gift shop, and a marina. Well mannered dogs are welcome in the park; they must be on no more than a 6 foot hand held leash and be cleaned up after promptly. Dogs are not allowed on beaches, swim areas, buildings, or food service areas, and they may not be tethered to trees, bushes, or park property. Dogs may not be left unattended. Dogs must be transported by private boat since dogs are not allowed on the ferry to the island. There is no camping on the island, but boats may moor overnight.
