More than 12 miles of trails wind through this 5,067 acre park that was once a cattle ranch. Rich pastoral lands give homes to numerous animal species; plus there are picnic areas with grills, a tram for aerial viewing (no pets), accessible restrooms, and an informational kiosk. Well mannered dogs are welcome in the park; they must be on no more than a 6 foot hand held leash and be cleaned up after promptly. Dogs are not allowed on beaches, swim areas, playgrounds, buildings, or food service areas, and they may not be tethered to trees, bushes, or park property. Dogs may not be left unattended.
