This site was found by Juan Ponce de Leon in his alleged search for the Fountain of Youth, and the constant 68 degree water from the spring may actually make it seem that way. There are 2 self-guided nature trails; seasonal Ranger guided walks, and picnic areas with grills, tables, and pavilions. Well mannered dogs are welcome in the park; they must be on no more than a 6 foot hand held leash and be cleaned up after promptly. Dogs are not allowed at swim areas, playgrounds, or buildings and they may not be tethered to trees, bushes, or park property. Dogs may not be left unattended.
