This unique riverside, carbon neutral destination offers a perfect location for learning about being eco-friendly while experiencing a fun and exciting natural experience. Offerings include a gathering spot along the river for beverages during the week with food on the weekends, a 22 covered-boat marina, comfy River-banas, a large event tent, and a fire pit along the river for cool nights. They also offer a variety of land and water recreation, river trips and fishing tours, a boardwalk from the sanctuary to the boat launch, and in the works are lectures on do-it-yourself sustainable projects for the home. Well-mannered dogs are welcome; they must be leashed and cleaned up after promptly. Dogs are not allowed in buildings.
